Small Tragedy

Saw this little guy outside my parents house after lunch. Don't know if he just fell or was pushed, but his leg didn't look good.

    Ah, I feel sorry for the little guy. Shame that the reality is not like the Disney version. Good pic BTW

    What kind of bird was it? Regardless of how it got out of the nest, chances are good parents will abandon it, right? So wouldn't it be ok to help this one out? What did you do?

    I just checked with my mom. They left it alone and the mother came for it. Apparently it wasn't hurt, it was just dazed and confused. It's a mourning dove chick. It's nest is on my parent's porch. clap.gif
