Hi All,

I know a lot of you have taken sporting group photos before and I was hoping to get some advice. I have just been given the job for my son's soccer club, this is a pretty huge club so it was a good gig to get.

1. I want the images to be presented nicely, do you add a border (in the club colours) and club logo to the digital image or do you get some frames made and then slot the image in?

2. I am going to use a simple little ligthing setup (2 x SB-800's) to fill in the shadows. I was thinking 2 umbreallas but might go softboxes?

But mst importantly this thread has NOTHING to do about what to charge, I already now that :wink

So how do you present your team images? Would be great if you could post some examples.

Cheers all,
W00DY

The 'standard' expectation here is to present the team and individual in a 'folio'. I buy the folio's at 'pro' rate for about 80cents each. They come in a variety of different shapes and colors, but the only one I have a sample of is here, top (I've also got some custom collages in this photo):

    Hi Ann,

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to be able to do the border and logo etc... as a digital file, rather than insert the image into a portfolio type presentation. I will have to look into it a bit more headscratch.gif

I am also planning on doing player trading cards, do you do them? Do you find them very popular?

    Cheers,
