I did a City Photowalk recently and came across these items along a Railroad right-of-way where obviously certain sorts of people hangout, maybe mostly at night. Deserted early in the day when I was there.

This is Worcester, MA near the Providence - Worcester Rail lines.

3.More of a feel for where they were.

Obiously a rough part of town.

Sorry if this is not quite in the right Forum.

If I got it wrong, please move to the more appopriate place.

So sad what one finds down by the train tracks.

Riding trains are so much fun, but living by them is a totally different story. And you found kids toys...oh so sad. Anyone who has been down by the tracks and see these photos can read into them the sad and lonely story of that life.

There is a place I want to visit where I live, but I'm just to dang scared to go by myself and I don't seem to get any takers when I ask if they want to go along.

    Thank you for sharing :D

And thank you for stopping by. I am so glad someone finally did!

There are two large intermodal yards virtually in the middle of town here.

And yes, when I ride the 'T' (commuter train) into Boston I see all the orts of society along the way! Truly amazing what we haphazardly toss away!

Its sad to see children's toys there because this leads one to believe that the children that lost/dropped the items are homeless. Not a very pleasant thought.
"A photo is like a hamburger. You can get one from McDonalds for $1, one from Chili's for $5, or one from Ruth's Chris for $15. You usually get what you pay for, but don't expect a Ruth's Chris burger at a McDonalds price, if you want that, go cook it yourself." - me

As another photographer lingering at the thought of doing something similar locally, Bravo!
