I had a pro photog ( a newspaper man) tell me he thought that the "Sweet spot" ISO for the 1DmII was about 320. I didn't have time to get into details with him, but I have always assumed that ISO 100 was the cleanest ISO. Is this true. Is ISO 50 better/worse than ISO 100. Any experts out there?

there's been chatter that iso 200 on the 1D MkII will give a bit more d.r., but i think you've really got to have a phd in measurebation to tell the difference. stick with iso 100 unless you need faster shutter speeds....

I can hardly tell the difference between 100 and 400. When I swicth to 800 it is like 400 film results.
