New Slideshow and IE

Major Props to Smugmug for the new slideshow!

But it doesn't seem to work for me in Explorer?

The button seems dead and I don't get anything.

In Firefox all is well.

***note.....it does not seem to be working in certain galleries in Firefox****

Is it something I've done?

Yes, unfortunately, several people are reporting this in this thread. Can you give us some details like pointing us to a gallery that isn't working for you?

What does Adobe say about your version of Flash?

In Internet Explorer I can't find any galleries where the slideshow works.

It appears the slideshow button is just not active.

In Firefox it works in these galleries

Mind you I have a FEW galleries!

Can you find a gallery using Firefox where the slideshow does NOT work and let us know? That would be most helpful!

Also, when using IE, and the button does not work, can you send us a link to one of those galleries, also? We are wanting to see the theme you are using in a gallery where the button isn't functioning properly.

how long should the shows take to load (cable modem)?
all i seem to see is a blank screen with "press esc to exit fullscreen mode" and no slideshow with the new style.

I'm having trouble with my slide show in IE too. It works fine in Firefox.

Think it might be because you have it turned off in CSS?

Don't think it's a security issue
Ditto with the dead slideshow button in IE7. I disabled Norton 360 and tried adding smugmug as a trusted site and allowing pop-ups from the domain, but still no slideshow.

I too did the flashtest so hopefully that helps diagnose the issue. I know i use firefox at work, but most of the family wanting to see slideshows will be on IE.
