    Beautiful kids and beautiful portraits!

What are you using for the glow effect?

I have to agree that they are all great portraits. You photograph mostly critters, you could of fooled me. Many of these pictures contain great emotion. Good captures.

Very nice set Michael. I'm not a fan of all that soft focus hocus pocus so I'll bet the originals would prove stunning if you were to post them for comparison (?) :D

    Hi Michael,

These are all very nice captures... great moments. Exposures and compositions are very nice. I'm not a fan of soft focus unless a photo really calls for it, so I think these stand up great on their own without the soft focus. But... that's personal preference, I suppose.

Thanks for sharing, and good luck on the wedding!

Beautiful images! I do like the effect!

I think you have to be selective how you want to utilize this tool. It's just like any other pp tool... if over-used within the same series of images it can become gimmicky.

Yes, they are very nice. I think the soft focus effect works well on the portrait of Sarah and the one of Kasia and Nathan, not so well on the others.

I would also like to see the originals if you have time to post them.

It's just a new toy mwink.gif I personally love tack sharp focus.
Sorry if I overwhelmed you with the soft focus.

Here is one of the above shots without the soft focus.

Sometimes it helps give a softer more glamourous look.
