Make Robins Interesting

I took a few shots of an interesting Robin in a tree today. He was eating berries and making funny faces at me. The weather was crap so I had to shoot at a higher ISO and my images are a little grainy as a result. Plus, I should have maybe exposed for the bird's colors a little better. Anything else? I managed to get pretty close.

It's tough shooting in that kind of light, especially with the grey sky as a background. The bird itself is a bit underexposed. Looks like the camera metered for the sky, not the bird. Next time try and adjust perhaps +0.6 and see if it gives a better result on the bird thumb.gif

I really like the last one with the berry in its beak. In Photoshop you can easily brighten these shots up a bit. Other than that they are very nice.
