I used Lucis Art on different layers with different blending modes. Was wondering if this effect is generally liked or not?

Yes. Cool shot and I like the treatment. Not too sure about the composition...I guess I still don't understand when centering is OK and when it's not.

Hm. Not sure. A tad to soft for me The little kid looks adorable, but I agree about the centering + it's too bad he didn't look at you (but then I wish I could make kids always look into my camera)

Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback.

I felt the same way about the center composition. I tried cropping to the right and left and somehow it just seemed better to me in the center this time.

I wish he was looking at the camera too but by him looking down seems to add a little emotion, like he didn't get his way or something and he's sad. Although he did get his way and refused to look at the camera ... lol.

What a cute kid!! I think tight crop on both sides will do good for this shot!

I like it better! There is no empty space to take away from the child, which is a good thing
