I was stuck at home today and had a new lens to try out, so I turned from my computer and took a shot out of the window. That got me thinking, I wonder what other Dgrinners and fellow LPS contestants see out of their windows when they're at their computers, anyone want to play, here's my view:-

(Edit, had to add this second view of the ever changing nature of British weather)

Nothing too inspiring, but I like the view:

Living on the 4th floor does have its advantages. I can shoot thunderstorms from my armchair: :D

Or rainbows, for that matter, but I do admit I should have gone out and found a better foreground: :D

They're fantastic guys, I love to see how photography brings people with a common passion together from all over the world, despite having such varying lives and experiences.

    Let's have some more clap.gif

I'm enjoying the very very few days like today where the weather is like my home town in California. Soon it will start in on the super hot and humid weather...

I don't have much of a view living in Japan. Nobody has any yards and all the houses are a few feet away from each other where I live.

All I see when I sit at my computer is the wall in front of me. Here's the view from my balcony, which is a little more interesting.

View from my office chair in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The outside view will be a lot nicer when spring finally arrives here. Mostly a grey and brown world outside right now.

The green and red lights on my phone signify that I was on a business conference call (phone on mute) when this shot was taken this morning. I probably should have been paying closer attention. ne_nau.gif

If I stand up and look left while at the computer I can see out the window into my front yard.

Since others are doing office shots, not just 'out the window', as it were.

    My View
Since I work for an engineering firm and the graphics department is an after-thought, I am no where near a window. So I had to hang my own. At least I have high walls on my cubicle which let me do so.

    Window view over time...
First the view from my 33rd floor apt in Boston.

    sunrise00jul07.jpg

Then the view of a snow covered field from my ex-in-law's place in Chiba Japan. This is really what it looked like.

Last 2 views from my 17th floor office here in Cebu, Philippines.
The first is looking east and the 2nd looking south.

I work on the 11th story of my office building. I probably spend most time gazing out my window than I do my computer screen.
