    What a series! Not only good behavioral shots but just plain good photography. The focus on the coot taking flight is awesome!

    Thanks Jeff, I agree, #5 is very dramatic with the pull,
    although initially #4 was my favorite for the stare and the floating feathers.

    Thanks Chris, the hawk actually took it's time finishing off the coot.
    We were practically right on top of it, except for the last shot most are almost uncropped.
