Here's a shot of a blow fly taken with my Tamron 90mm macro.

What do you think

    Good shot :)

The composition and angle of the shot could be better - ie lower angle and the fly given more headroom in the direction it's looking.

    Hi Brian

Thanks. As you can see the shot is looking down, Tamron 90 macro on monopod, amongst the grass. No chance to get lower before he flew away !!

The sharpness and detail are there SKM, all you need now is for these little guys to pose for you, and not fly away.

Got good light and colour in that shot too nod.gif
I have the same trouble you do, they take off before you can get a descent shot.

Hope you find more to photograph, nice shot thumb.gif .. Skippy :D

    Hi Skippy

Thanks for looking and commenting. Now that spring is coming should be more opportunities to practice.
