Excellent capture Stan, you nailed the exposure and caught your subject in a very interesting pose. Good feather detail also.
I find the crop a bit tight, I would prefer a bit more room on the top and the right.

I agree but I was pretty close to the swan and no time to move further back before he went on his way, so not cropped at all

Sometimes you have to take what your subjects give you. However there are answers to this too. Unfortuantely I'm about to leave for the rookery in St Augustine but when I get back on Saturday I'm going to revisit this shot and see what we can do about giving that swan a tad more room.
