I see it was hiding behind the clouds there.

I was driving down the freeway toward the strip here in Las Vegas just before sunset and was admiring that big beautiful moon hovering above the mountains. I saw a couple of excellent compositions, one with the moon beside the Stratosphere and another above the Wynn hotel. No camera with me and if I did have it, there would have been no place to stop. If only we could wire a camera to our brain and snap pictures with our eyes...

Did get a chance to see the moon lastnight. It was near Zenith. Sky was super clear for viewing and surface details to the eye were crisp and clean.

Too tired to break out the camera at the hour I noticed it. I'm weak
    that way. :D
    first day of spring moon
    Glad you mentioned.

The moon was pretty big I saw it when I was driving home from work,
but the clouds were quickly coming in behind it.

By the time I got home there was a blanket of cloud totally covering the sky...... it was a really big moon wasn't it, and bright too.

Your Spring is coming, our Summer has ended, daylight savings will be here soon, and everything will change again.

Thanks for sharing your Spring Moon thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

Here's my view the night before, here in central Florida.
Taken about 9pm. I looked up and saw this beautiful moon and couldn't resist.
