The issue at hand is complicated. I uploaded roughly 30 pictures yesterday. They are all viewable, and purchasable, but I want to use one of the pictures I uploaded to change out my background on the home page. When I insert the image # into my coding for it to show up and replace the existing image, I click update, and nothing is there. The photo does not show up. This is only the case with photos I uploaded yesterday in Firefox, or today for that matter.
I thought that it may be the browser, but when trying internet explorer recently to upload on smugmug, it closes with a memory error in IE. This only happens on Smugmug. I am stumped as to what the problem may be. Please help, I have to load my new identity and logo for my homepage

I would guess that you don't have the correct URL for the image. Images in newer galleries may need not only the imageID, but also the imageKey. In this image http://cmac.smugmug.com/photos/131481399_ZnZmK-X2-2.jpg, 131481399 is the imageID and ZnZmK is the imageKey. Older images will work without the imageKey (for backward compatibility reasons), but newer images require the key.
So, I'd suggest you make sure that the URL you are using for the image you want to use in your background is the correct full URL. Also, you may need to make sure that external linking is enabled on the gallery, it's not in a password protected gallery and make sure that the image isn't hidden - all of which can prevent it from displaying as your background image.

I figured it out, it seems you have to copy more of the link than I used to per reply #3 on this thread. Thanks for the help guys
