Emailed photos not showing up on map

I am starting to do alot more geotagging using my phone (it has gps).

• I email the photo to my smugmug account,
• It shows up in my galary.
• The galary is public.
• When I click on Edit geography, the properly formatted coordinates are on the picture.

BUT,
When I look at the map of my pictures, it doesn't show up. even after 10 or 20 minutes.

Does this feature even work?

The last two pictures have the gps on them.

when I go into the map and search by my username they don't show up!

OK, I see that you searched by Album.....

But...I still am curious why they wouldn't show up under the username search?


OK....WT*....now they are showing up on my username map search.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS BEHAVIOR!

Seriously.
Do you have to post about a picture on dgrin forum for them to show up on your username map search?
Does it wait until Thursday at 5:30 pm pacific time to update the maps?
