I started out doing some urbex shots in the last few weeks, and I'm totally hooked.. here's one shot i like quite a lot.. I took it in an abandoned building of a mine not far from where I live... after the mine was abandoned there was a horsebackriding school in the buildings.. now its just abandoned with occasional paintballers running aound the premises (and some crazy urbexers ;-) )... any C+C would be welcome!

If the window wasnt there..this would go on my wall
I took another shot from the same place... this time with the window not blown out
I like this one with the window not blown out, the other one I like too, except for the blown window of course
So did you find the other boot? or is it the same boot in both images ??
I had a quick look at the link you provided with the first image,
you've got some beautiful work there Spako
I like the shot the drain and the cartoon character urinating on the wall.
Some of those graffiti artists are pretty clever at their work.

Concerning image #1 here, can someone please explain to me why the
"blown out" portion of the window undercuts the quality of the piece?
Knowing that would be very helpful. Michael
I like to think that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't mind the blown out window in the first shot, but my taste does tend to differ from a lot of more experienced photographers than me. I don't know, these are both awesome shots though!
