Hi all. I am just back from The Alligator Farm in St Augustine, where it is beginning to pick up, but mostly with woodstorks, great egrets and snowies. I met up with Harry too and I think we came away quite pleased. These are just a few I have PP so far. Thanks for looking. All were taken with the D300 and Nikon 500 lens, except the last one which was taken with the D200 and Nikon 70-300 lens.

Great images of some breeding plumage and the wood storks are just cute in their own wood storky way. mwink.gif In that first photograph it looks like the one wood stork is glancing down at the other.

Thanks Stephen!:D I thought that of the first one myself and I am glad people can notice that, which is why it makes the image unique somewhat.

I cannot really tell to be quite honest. I process the D200, as in sharpening, differently than the D300. The third one was with D300 and fourth with the D200.

that is the reason i ask before or after you did the pp work --I am on aol and it is not picture friendly ,this is why I ask you --to you which looks sharper the 200 ---or the 300 ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif

Between those two pictures, I would give the 4th one a very slight edge on sharpness. I have heard other complain about aol as well.

Thanks Jack! It is very difficult to get the clean images, with no interfering background stuff. I just take my time and try and get certain angles that will work.

Thanks Harry! The woodstork images I got late in the afternoon on Friday. I finally got a pair that was a bit more isolated, but they were way up in the tree.

Hi Nancy.. Beautiful shots. I've never seen a Wood Stork except in pictures, none around here. Thanks for sharing.
