from last sunday before the snow storm friday
I was not able to get as close as I wanted, but I'm still pretty happy since these are the first BB's I've ever taken

You should be pleased, very nice. I look forward to more when you get them in your range....and out from under the snow!

Really pretty - can you crop the shots of the bird on the grass so its not quite so centered? Great catchlights - great light!

I don't think there is a bad bluebird shot. I like number 3 the best. It seems sharpest. I agree with Ann in that perhaps a recrop decentering the subject would be even better. thumb.gif

Thanks Jack, Ann & Stephen.........I struggled with the crop on the last 2. I thought that moving it over to the left would just leave a bunch of empty blue...my thoughts were, the grass is kinda in the middle but the bird is in the top 3rd

Good set Dave. clap.gif I would play with the crops some more and see if the other options present.

I would have left the subjects some more space on top and moved them a bit more off-center.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
