Pictures for Daddy

My husband has been away for a bit doing some training. He calls every day, but he sure misses his kids - especially with it being a holiday and the festivities he is missing and all. Anyway, he asked me to send him some pictures, so we tromped out into the back yard and had a go at it. Fortunately our snow here is pretty much gone, which is more than a lot of folks that don't live in Alaska can say. And it was nice and sunny- a bit too sunny, if you ask me! We just stuck to the shade, and it was fine. Hope you enjoy my beauties!

1.) My 7 year old (Gracie) She could be a model some day, I think.

2.) The sisters.

3.) Sending kisses to dad, long distance.

4.) A little intensity in those eyes... hmmmm?

5.) Stumped :rofl

6.) 5 going on 15 and moody sometimes.

8.) And then Andrew... he was much too busy to be bothered
for long. He was busy picking pussy willows for me. (Which includes climbing trees and all that boy stuff- big priorities.)

Thanks for looking! Feel free to tell me where I could do better and what I did badly! I always love a good critique! (Though I admit I have never been brave enough to get on over to the whipping post:wink )

Thank you all! He did like them a whole bunch. He is sure getting homesick for his little snugglebums. But he is going to be home this weekend, so I am sure he will live! Meanwhile, I wish I wold point the camera at my own kids more often! I am sure we will enjoy these for a long time.iloveyou.gif

You captured some incredible expressions - especially in #2 and #6. I'm sure he will be thrilled to see these.

Yep- I used my 580EX and the "better bounce card" for just a bit of fill light and to make some nice catch lights. I love that system, even if I do look like a moron with a flappy thing up there. I do get lots of comments about it at weddings and other events. But the results can't be questioned. ne_nau.gif
