Hi, I'm just new at this whole thing (smugmug and taking photos). I received a new camera for my birthday, a Nikon D40 and have been taking shots. Before this camera, I only had a point and shoot regular camera. I would love some feedback on my pics....am trying to learn. My homepage is lammg.smugmug.com Thanks

Welcome and you have some great sunset shots! Since this is a shots forum, it would be most hlepful to embed a photo or two (or three...) into your thread, or at the very least activating a link into your post so that users can click rather than copy, open a new browser and past.
Need help? This tute here will tell ya how to do it.
Look forward to seeing/hearing more from you

The HTML shows a href tag which is a link. It should show IMG tag.

That last one is CLOSE, but you are combining a link with an image (advanced usage) and you didn't close your "quote" tag from slinky... for now, just use the "image tag", if you leave your mouse over each image for a few seconds a little box will pop-up telling you what it does. You don't need to do a hyper-link within your image link to get it to work.
FWIW when you are done it should look kinda like this:
