havn't seen many raptors up here lately (forum) so I'll throw some up.
most of these are from 1-2 weeks ago

1 only posting this because the leg band.. I found it interesting & contacted the wisconsin DNR. obviously you can't read the band but they said that it looked like a gov. and probably from a catch & release along the Mississippi:dunno

2. I thought maybe it was a rehab bird...anyway it's mate was not banded
they were chowing on a oppossum by the road.

    Nice work Dave. Do you use any fill flash in the field on these type of images or strickly natural lighting? Trying to learn a little about using fill flash and was just curious about your approach, thanks.

    thanks...no flash....I'm not that good with it, so I try to lighten stuff in pp using levels & maybe the dodge tool.
