Took near on 200 pictures in the butterfly exhibit at the Wild Animal Park, and have a small size of keepers. Just thought I would choose three or four out of those and post them here, the rest of them people can check out on the flickr stream :wink (fyi, I think all the good detail is really only available in the original sizes)..Also if anyone knows names of these guys, that would be awesome :)

Overall, I think these came out pretty well. I am going to be going back to the park before the exhibit closes to spend another day just snapping pics.

    Wow these are amazing!
I really like the first ones colors, and angel. Number 2 is cool too! MM

I like the first one best for the color, and I think your lighting is very good. But you need to get out of the habit of centering your images. The only time centering works is if the subject fills the frame or there is a reflection. That first shot would be crackin' if the eye was in one of the rule of thirds hot spots...

Dalantech, thanks for the info, I'm so concerned with getting the focus right that I dont even think of composition, I'll have to work on that when I go back on thursday :)
