What is the best way you have found to "market" your photography business? Word of mouth, cards, etc?
Word of mouth, hands down. I have a referral program where each client gets a handful of $25 off coupons w/ their prints. These coupons are for them to hand out to their friends. Every time one of their friends places an order, the original client gets a $25 print credit, too. It's not as confusing as it sounds. The referral cards have a spot to write the referrer's name so I can keep track.
Word-of-mouth is the ONLY way I've ever gotten a wedding. Perhaps I need to update my wedding photography site, (which I'm doing now) but I've never had a 'cold call'.

Here is a wedding website I created for a customer as a value-add. Comments appreciated.
