    I think it's a ladderback woodpecker, if it's a fairly large bird (blue jay size).

    i think i can help
    I am almost possitive that it is a red-bellied woodpecker. The ladder back woodpecker is 3 inches smaller and has black stripes on it's face. hope this helps.
