Taken yesterday at Balboa Lake. A fight to the end, I was rooting for the Plyc.

    Good action set Sandy. You were shooting against the light here with the darker subject (the cormorant) against a lighter background. By making a positive exposure adjustment of probably 2/3rds of a stop you would have brought out more of the shadow detail.
