    iloveyou.gif Welcome!

Hey, Beginner Grinner is really clever. I'd like to shamelessly steal that idea and use it for new member's titles. Can do?

I don't have a bunch of equipment. I have a digital (Sony 5 megapixel) and a few backdrops, one umbrella light and a few spotlights.
    That's about it.
I work with what I have available at the time.

I'm so glad you like that one. It's my favorite of him. He was sitting there calm as could be and then.. WHAM! He screamed at me as I took the picture.
I love it because it's so real.
I think at that point, he was done having his photo taken. rolleyes1.gif

    Yea. Audrey's Smokin.mwink.gif
Even better than that... She's a friend and poses for FREE!!!!!!thumb.gif

Thanks Baldy. She is my favorite model of course.
That's my neice Madison. She is precious and loves the camera.
Good thing for her I guess.
I'd hate to have to duct tape her to the chair.

    The Fairy
This is my favorite of Madison.

Of course, there's some PS work here.
First, I used the (diffused glow) Filter to give it that surreal look.
I made her hair blonde with the dodge and overlay tools, then used the diffused paint brush in white to give it a sparkly look. Made her eyes green with the overlay tool, and used the blur tool on her wings and around the edges.

Madison't bedroom is done in Fairies, so I did this for her bedroom. Made it an 8x10, framed and matted it. It hangs over her bed and most people don't even recognize that it is her.

    Hello from Ocala
I went to your website and was pleasantly surprised to see you are not far down the road. Nice to see such quality work from close to home.

I am a rank beginner in the photography area and look forward learning more as I go. Most of my shots will probably focus around family, etc., with a few landscapes and, perhaps, some macro shots.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Tuesday, that is wonderful work. I think this thread should be in the photoshop forum, where people like me can learn from what you're doing. Terrific stuff. thumb.gif
