Focus Stacking
Can someone please explain focus stacking. I think i understand the principle fairly well, but I've never tried it and would like to but dont really know how to go about doing it.
Some questions i have regarding focus stacking:
-what software is good?
-how many different shots are typically used (i realize it depends on the subject and what you are going for)?
-how do you focus stack with a subject that is not 100% still without getting some ghosting between images?
-is it poor practice to just take a burst of shots while continuously adjusting the focus as the burst progresses?
Like i said, still learning about this and would like some "expert advice":wink .

Eric
It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not.

for a simple shot. It really opens up a new world in macro shots.
If I'm 'playing', I tend to change focus with my finger on the button, but my shots are only macro in the wild.
For studio shots you would carefully rack the camera/focus in
Have a play it is good fun
