great shot --what time of day?afternoon he/she has that golden look i see them but there is no stopping on a LA freeway[ that's bs there is driving on la freeways ] lets say if you get out to shot you would be walking home .

OBTW, next time you're in Monterey, look towards the Sheraton (as you're
headed towards Monterey) on your left. There are a pair of nesting
hawks that you'll see up in the sign on the (mostly) northern side
of the building.

Thanks Ian, yeah he was sitting on a light pole, spotting him while driving the other direction. It's amazing I didn't hurt anyone trying to turn around, getting my camera ready and opening the sunroof to shoot through...:D
