Nice one! He looks like he's sitting on a light or something.

OBTW, next time you're in Monterey, look towards the Sheraton (as you're
headed towards Monterey) on your left. There are a pair of nesting
hawks that you'll see up in the sign on the (mostly) northern side
    of the building.

Marvelous shot Ed. The lighting looks perfect. How much of a crop did you do on the shot?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry, the crop wasn't too severe, drove up up from behind him then shot through the sunroof, got about three shots off then he was gone.

Thanks Ian, yeah he was sitting on a light pole, spotting him while driving the other direction. It's amazing I didn't hurt anyone trying to turn around, getting my camera ready and opening the sunroof to shoot through...:D
