I don't know about the Osprey and the duck, but for the first three, a bag of potato chips will take the place of the "big white lens" for a little while!

There are going to be some that will agrue the "white" part as well!

Nice job, interesting combination of birds to get in one morning's shoot.

rolleyes1.gif It's funny, I was standing there this morning thinking... If i had a bag of chips this wouldn't be so freaking hard!

As for the Osprey I just wanted to verify that it was indeed an osprey, I realize it was waaaay out there. It was also the very first one I had ever seen in Ohio, which was pretty coolthumb.gif .

I also got some shots of a common loon and a couple pied billed grebes. So all in all it was a fun morning.

    Thanks,

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I tried to crop them a bit but didn't like the results. I think it's time to upgrade to the 100-400mm. You may be seeing a real nice 70-300 IS in the House of Canon very soon.
