    Beware, on PC.
On my Mac when I went to the above site just to see it, two auto downloads occurred. One 'Document' called sa.aspx and one file called sendmain.jsp.

    Watch out!

I had opened that site on an XP machine and did not have suspicious behavior, so thanks to Don for mentioning the threat to Macs and thanks to Richard for taking action. thumb.gif

I suggest that people do not need to visit the site for any reason.

Those files don't appear to be a threat to a Mac. I thought they were more likely to be harmful to a PC and not necessarily noticed as download on a PC like I caught the action on my Mac.

I just took another look at them (pulled from the trash) they are 0k files and a text editor shows them as blank!

Glad to hear that these files were not actually a danger. The site still sounds like a scam.

Just fyi, an .aspx file is an ASP web page (kind of like an HTML file, but in VB.NET or C# and must be run from the server to do anything). The .JS file is a javascript file, with the same limitations as above. I would be concerned if it were dropping a VBS, EXE, or COM file as those can be run from the client & the VBS format is the typical virus delivery format. Better safe than sorry, however--I'd be suspicious of any site dropping any file unasked-for.

The easieest way to avoid scams is to not buy from dealers who do
not have a physical sales store or who are not one of the established
and long known internet dealers (like amazon).
