nice photos, I really like the second one. And wow that's an awesome setting for a cabin.

Beautiful and dramatic! I love the lighting in your first shot, and the loss (and gain) of scale the longer you look at it. thumb.gif

Love the pictures. Where were they taken?

The first one gave me instant goosebumps because of the otherworldy light, perfect exposure and delicacy (is that the right word?) of the entire scenery. The longer I look at it, the more the cabin and tire tracks become a distraction though, for me it would have worked better without. Still, it's a beautiful shot nevertheless.

I also love the second one, an unusual angle, a very original capture and a great abstract, yet one that is not too far removed from its subject matter to obscure it altoghether. I can literally breathe the cold and feel the snow in my nostrils mwink.gif.

Only the third one doesn't do much for me - actually it's a nice photo but it pales in comparison to the other two. The skiers are not enough of a dominant element here (too small) and the lighting falls a bit flat, but maybe that's just me...

And, I have to agree with jdmphoto and starky - what an awesome place for a cabin and where were these taken?

    All the best,

The first shot is spectacular... I would love to see it a little darker and with a little more contrast (not that it isn't great right now). Doing so would really make those rays of light from the clouds pop out (Did you adjust the photo in PS using levels?)...

... Beautiful picture... Thanks for sharing...
