Friday night I was shooting the SMU v Georgia Tech lacrosse game here in Atlanta. I took this shot during a game between two local high schools which was played before the college game began.

Tech has a tradition of bringing this sofa out to the sidelines and placing it beside the bleachers at each home game. It's great seating unless the action comes a little too close or becomes a little too intense.

Kent, correct me if I'm wrong, but I would guess this is club lacrosse???

Which does not minimize the safety concerns, only the strictness with which refs would be inclined to enforce anything outside the lines.

Georgia Tech plays in the SELC (Southeastern Lacrosse Conference) of the MCLA (Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association).

The photograph makes the sofa appear to be closer to the sidelines than it actually is. It's typically in line with the bleachers that are on that side of the field. I've been shooting games there for at least 4 years and have never seen the sofa contacted in any way by a player.
