Birthday Flowers

Well with a new baby at home I haven't had the chance to really get out (not true :rolleyes I know... but i've been really distracted with a beautiful baby girl). So the other day I felt I had to shoot something so I grabbed the flowers I bought my wife for her birthday and went to town. I actually am pretty happy with these but could always use some C&C. I'm always looking to improve.

    Lovely shots- good lighting,
    LIke #1 best but the green stuff on the right is a bit distracting.

    All three photos look excellent to me and congratualations to you and your wife for a lovely baby girl and I am sure there will be plenty of time to practice taking photos of her.

    I like #1 & 2 really like the lighting on #2, makes the flower look 3D. #3 I do not know why, picture is good, just does not grab me.

    Congrats on the new girl! Be prepaired for sleep loss :)
