Visiting: Joshua Tree - Recommends please

I shall be driving through Joshu (to Las Vegas and return a week later) from Oakland / Fresno / Bakersfield.

Any suggestions, ideas or inputs most welcome....

    Stop and take lots of photographs in the Joshua Tree NP. You might even find some individuals climbing the rock piles! I did in '96 when out there.
