WTB: 70-200 f2.8 or f4 is

My wife and I are going to China late June for a week to take pictures of orphan children to work on a book that will allow the orphanage to raise awareness as well as support. I really want the 2.8 is but worried about the weight as well as the price.

Torn between each of the lens at this point. Any help would be appreicated locating one.

    I can't help you with the lens. I have one but would not sell it. However, I am interested to hear more about your trip. Maybe you could pm me if you don't mind sharing.

    I have a 70-200 2.8 IS and also won't sell. The extra weight is worth it for the performance. It is an excellent performer in low light. (I did have to tighten the belt a little! rolleyes1.gif ) JMHO.:D
