First Bug Shot With MP-E

This afternoon I captured my first bug shot with my MP-E. It was a House Spider, sitting in the shower base. I used the 580 flash with a diffuser on an angle bracket. I know I have one hell of a long way to go so any help is more than appreciated.

I like the last one the best. I'm guesing this was all handheld? Was the spider alive? I don't have that lens, but i'm always interested to know what the setup was so I can help out my friend who does have that lens.

Thanks for looking Phil. It took me all my time to focus believe me. I wasn't thinking about composition but I will the next time.

Yes the spider was alive. All the shots were hand held taken in man mode raw. and ISO at 200 F11 and F9 at a shutter speed of 250.
