Comments and suggestions? This guy and his mate were about 20 ft into a very dense wooded area. The only thing I've done other than cropping is I added a multiply layer and mask to darken the corners. The LRHC is still lacking density but I'm undecided about any further treatment of an already good photo. I got some unspectacular photos of the hen also. Darn they are light and slight and well camoflaged! Sigma 50-500 at 420mm, ISO 560, F8.

Here's the XL version: http://smile-123.smugmug.com/photos/273409643_4zUGs-XL.jpg

I think you have pretty well maxed out that shot's potential. You did extremely well on a very difficult capture. clap.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
