Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area but I thought it could fit in here:D

There is an awesome series running right now called "The Genious of Photography". This is by far the best show I have ever seen on the history of photography. If this series doesn't inspire you to take better and more meaningful pictures, nothing will.

It is on the Ovation Channel for those that have sat or cable.

They also have some good interview shows on specific photographers. If you miss it the first time around, don't worry--the current run is the third repeat I'm aware of.

ya i watched one the other day, my wife found it by accident.
i was so grateful she did. the only thing i usually ever watch on tv is F1 racing...
now that ive seen one, i plan on watching the whole series. thank goodness for DVR.

Caught it first time round on BBC in the UK.

Some interesting stuff , but often quite la-de-da IMHO. Too many 'artists' gushing their opinions. :nah
