I'm having hostname problems too

I used GoDaddy to get a custom hostname.
I think I followed these directions correctly:
  1. Find/choose a domain name.
  2. Register it with GoDaddy.
  3. While logged in as a SmugMug Pro, click here to go directly to your Control Panel.
  4. Paste your new domain name into the 'Custom Hostname' box.
  5. Click save.
If I type in the name www.davickphotography.com it will take me to my homepage, but any other page I go to on the site then shows the www.davick.smugmug.com URL.

Did I leave out a step?

Shouldn't it show
www.davickphotogaphy.com/galleries instead of www.davick.smugmug.com/galleries etc....?

    Hi Sara,

I believe that you are having the same problem as another customer was having the other day. Please take a look at this post for more information:

Thank you for the quick response.

That makes sense. I kinda wondered if I needed to do something like that, but this line in the directions threw me off -
That's all there is to it. We automagically configure your domain settings and, in just minutes, www.yourdomain.com will bring up your SmugMug homepage.

But if I had read more carefully I would have seen it is only referring to my homepage.

I'll go back and make the changes.

    Thanks again!!!

hmmm, I have been considering making a change to that. I think this might be a good time to update it.

    Thank you.
