This one is quite good to me - did you use flash or is that a spot light? Which lens were you using?

    Glad you liked it!

I used my metz with bounce on some of the images, but not this one, spotlight from the convert hall roof. I used the canon 50 1.4 at 2.0 1/100 and iso 800 (canon 30d)

    Thanks!

So far i love the 50 1.4, I use it much more than i thought i would when i only had zooms. Having 1.4 to play with instead of 2.8 makes a world of difference, especially when photographing indoors with bad lights.

Be sure to post some more from this shoot - would love to see them.

You are correct on the larger apertures, its really handy indoors to get even wider than f/2.0 and in a lot of cases leave the flashes turned off!

I have the 50mm f/1.8 and love to use it for indoor photography of my kids or what not. I'm a proponent of leaving the flash off as much as possible.

I really like the 4th one down in the new set - you had a very successful outing here overall though it seems to me. Well done.
