Hi WF DGrinners,
I just came across this forum after browsing the classfieds, looks like a cool place. I'm up in Seattle, WA and do quite a fair bit of bird photography when I get a break from my day job and home chores. I shoot mainly with Pentax gear just because that what I have the most lenses invested in. I dabble a bit in Canon also since I purchased a 20D & 400/5.6L last year. I was contemplating selling off my Canon gear and for a couple other lenses I have my eye on in the K Mount, but for some reason I was having a hard time parting with the 400.
This shot of the Junco is from last weekend with the 20D + 400 + 1.4X II.
I'm still impressed with this lens and have decided to keep it and upgrade the body.
I think I'll also kick it around in this forum a bit more. Seem like you all have it going on.
Thanks for looking/commenting,
JayT

Excellent shot, sharp and well exposed. Have you tried coning out the branch running in front of the Junco?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
