    took me a while....now I see it.

were you going for this super-over sharpened kinda look? It definitely gives some strong impact.

Can I ask how you got it that sharp? Did you just use unsharpen mask? It makes everythign look grainy when I do it, so I barely use it ... Thanks ....

    Love the shot :o)

i wanted to emphasis the building signage and other posters, so i used this program that installs into ps filters called 'lucis art'. i personally believe it allows an image to 'pop' without all the grain associated with other sharpening tools.

    thanks for the comments.

Cool shot, I still dont get the title haha..

Did you use the exposure mode on Lucisart's plug-in? There's a lot of filters in that thing, can't tell which is from which. Whats the %percentage you used?

i couldn't tell ya, it's been a while. from it's look, i'd say exposure and sculpture. i'm sure i faded them both.

    thanks for the comment.
regarding the title, look at the signage in the shot.

I don't understand why you would title a photo using an aspect of the photo that doesn't catch the attention or form the focus of the photo. Having to hurt all over the photo to catch the meaning of the title strikes me as odd.

15524779-Ti.gif - I had to look at this photo 3 times before I finally found the source of the reference. And then, when I did, I'm still headscratch.gifheadscratch.gif - the sign doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe I've just exposed yet another facet of my ignorance?

Actually I think it is a good comment on the scene, cause I don't see any! YMMV on the genre.

I had to look carefully but eventually I spotted it. It did force me to look with more care than I might have, sort of like playing Where's Waldo. I wouldn't make too much of a title, though, as it is a hell of a lot easier to change than anything else in a pic. :D

I like the processing. It took me a minute to find the signage.

But wow is the LucisArt expensive or what?!?!?
