Such a shame to see this kind of place go! :cry

I love the last shot - very atmospheric and really lends to the sense of serenity in a busy city.

It is a shame to see a place like that close. Less and less of the old diners are left all the time, almost surprising to have one in NYC last so long.

Some nice shots of a traditional diner.

This is a nice series, really captures the place. I also hate to see the cool old places leave the scene. A real loss of character.

Nice shots of a cool place. Any ideas of what's to happen to the building? If it's not set for demolition it'd be great for someone to buy it up and keep it running.

Thanks Gary, this was my first time trying out this kind of subject. Sometimes it's tough see a place creatively when you become so familiar with it.

    Thanks again

Thank you. They might try to save the structure.... But one story building properties in NYC are almost all gone. The AP story is here. Its been covered quite a bit on local news and papers.
