Tamron 180mm/3.5 Macro .. front element loose?

After 6 weeks I recieved the lens back form
Tamron Repair (the tripod ring was loose).

Now I noticed another thing on the lens.
I'm not shure if this is normal but the
filter thread in front of the front lens is
loose (it rattles against the lens barrel
if moved). The FEC works without problems
and no optical elements of the lens are loose.

Before I have to send the lens in again,
I'd like to know if another Tamron 180mm
owner has the same problem.

If I understand you correctly the front bezel of the lens has come loose. Any competent camera repair shop should be able to correct this for a nominal cost.

The part that is loose is the filter thread, and it clacks against
the inside of the lens barel.

The lens is only 3 months old and it already spent half of its
time in Repair. I sent Tamron an email politely asking if they
would repair it faster, considering the circumstances. The front
element was tight when I send it to them. If they refuse that
I might ask a camera repair shop - even if I have to pay for it
    myself.
