the first time I got this little goldden bee in focus with a lillte help from this kingbird and and were the he--- did this come from :cry :cry :cry :cry you never see this stuff in the view finder :dunno

    Excellent capture Jeff. When I get that blurring effect its because of some OOF foreground branch or other obstruction.

    The only thing i can think of is I was down low and the grass or weeds blew over into the shot But it landed and click it was gone :cry no second shot

    Carefull look shows me a branch waving in there that would be easy to miss in a small viewfinder.

    yep this stuff is so easy to miss when you are in the heat of the second and focused on getting the shot and when you get home that big screen tells all :cry it is saying ----GOTCHA :D

    too far away it is just one that got away but only for me not the bee --that last one is what I got on the return trip :D

    Lost of images end up in the round file for this very reason,
    but I'm glad you kept and posted this one Jeff. The image itself is so strong
    that the little blurring doesn't affect it in the least
