Move photos, suggestion

Moving photos in smugmug has been a major pain for me. One specific issue that still hasn't really been answered could be found here, the thread seemed to die with no one having a good answer.

Besides that, the suggestion I would like to make might have more to do with catagories and subcatagories naming and sorting options, and a MAJOR PROBLEM, or maybe my lack of understandning here. I see this with every 1st and 3rd party uploader I've used, except directly through the website, and I'm sure this might not be the case with every, I haven't used all of them. I will try to do my best to explain with an example and the powers to be can look at it for a suggestion to me or some future change.

Someone does a yearly event and creates the following gallery/album.

catagory: Expo
subcatagory: Expo 2008
album names: Vendor Booths, Shows, Customer Booths, etc...

Now next year I want to keep the same orginization since everyone knows how the workflow is.

catagory: Expo
subcatagory: Expo 2009
album names: Vendor Booths, Shows, Customer Booths, etc...

So now comes the problem for me, when moving, or uploading to the galleries, I now have albums with the same names, yes they are in different catagories, but most of the 3rd party and 1st party uploaders don't show that, they just show 2 different albums, different album numbers or whatever. I do not have a clue what subcatagory those albums are in, Expo 2008, Expo 2009? The same applies to moving potos, I now have to places to move my photos to with the names, Vendor Booths, Shows, Customer Booths, but I have no clue if they are in the Expo 2008 subcatagory or the Expo 2009 subcatagory.

The only thing I stumbled upon was the newest created albums seem to fall to the bottom of the move photos pulldown. Maybe dumb luck? It seems this may was overlooked? or I'm missing something? Can I somehow see a break down of catagories and subcatagories like it shows on the navbar pulldown of "add photos" from the web interface? I hope that example clears some things up and a solution could be looked at, it would make a better product, make it easier to move photos, make 3rd party uploaders better, all around a better product.
:dunno

Thanks..

Note taken, I was trying to avoid beating a dead horse and thought it might have required more looking into by someone else, so was waiting patiently.

I have a gallery problem too - I wish you were able to move galleries in one fell swoop. The old ones always fall to the bottom. I need them to be in the order I want - not in the order that they were created with old ones on the bottom of the pile.

    Go to this page
    http://www.flashfrozenphotography.com/galleries
On the category box you have to click "position" instead of "recent" on the
upper left corner. This will enable your to sort any of the category/gallery
    boxes.

Another point about the issue of having different categories but having the same subcategory names. There is a problem with the stats page also, one can't tell which category it is in, without actually following the link to that specific gallery because it doesn't note what category it is in, only the subcatagory name.
