Hello, this is Alice...I wanted to shoot something different and fun and I thought of the concept 'breakfast' ... so i bought fruitloops and milk... and this is the outcome.. What do you guys think? Specially her facial expression? I wanted her to give me a playful expression and this is what she gave me icon_smile.gif

In all honesty...I think her expression is great.....the timing of the flow of milk, exposure, processing, etc. The part that kills the shot (which in my mind distracts from the conveyance of a great photo) is that she's naked (waist up). It would be a much better look with here PJ's on, sitting up in bed, messy hair with all those other great elements you've captured. Just my 2 cents, but the implied nude (nothing implied about it...she is) takes away from it.

What a great shot. I think the fact that she is topless and, well endowed, adds to the effect of the shot. Her facial expression is priceless! Excllent lighting and sharpness. Great Shot!!

Not being a dude who loves to look at mountains and peaksrolleyes1.gif I do have to agree that I would like the shot better if she were in pj's as well. Even lingerie would give the playful affect I think you were aiming for.

    Great shot.

I like her expression although a simple smile would have been just as effective and I see nothing wrong with her being nude. I also like the high key look but offer up the following for your consideration:

    1) the high key exposure washes out the comforter too much making it look clumsy. I would lose it and show her belly.

    2) watch the hands. professional models (and photogs) learn hand posing and always keep fingers together to avoid looking like claws.

    3) the spoon is unneccessary and the strong light, stage left, is creating bad shadows on her right arm

She looks like she's a great model to work with. My thoughts:

    - great lighting, but on number one I was distracted by the shine on her forhead. Almost like there was too much light right there.

    - second shot, very nice skin tones, except that it looks like there was some softening around the cleavage area. look a little over processed.

    - last one is the best. Great tones, nice curves (nothing to do with you!!) and wonderful contrast of the high white and her skin tone.

    Very nice!

I think her expression is super and I don't find that the nudity detracts (of course, I'm not a guy...). I think the photo could work either way...nudity or pajamas, depending on your goal. I find that after viewing the cereal, "etc", my eyes are drawn back to her cute expression and the great timing in pouring the milk. I'm not 100% sure on the white comforter, I find it a little over-powering. I would like to have tried it with some pajama bottoms possibly? The last shot I would like better if there were more lighting on her face. Nice shots of a cute gal.
