Two of my boyfriends crazy friends came in to town and insisted on going to the beach despite rain, thunder, and after a while, a bit of lightning. I thought this would be an interesting photo opportunity. Probably not my best work, but CC welcomed.

rolleyes1.gifwhat an odd way to start a thread. I hate to ask how many there arerolleyes1.gif

What is your focus with this set of pictures? What do you want to state to the viewers? I am having trouble trying to figure out what you want us to look atheadscratch.gif

ooops! I honestly said my boyfriend's two friends....

Well I would honestly have to say that I didn't go out with focus on any one specific thing. I wanted to catch the contrast between the dark sky and the ocean. I wanted to catch the fog or mist, whatever it was that seemed to cover the pier and the houses in the other direction. Maybe I should of just shot one thing? Or should of posted them seperately? Sorry, still learning.

I like these because this is one of the times I like the beach, when it and a big storm seem to join hands and make you feel wild and introverted at the same time!

I like the huge amount of moody space in these images, and #5 is my favorite.

    Thanks for posting.

I thinj this is a post containing beautiful pictures..Not technicaly perfect..but who cares? it´s not the technical aspects of a photo wich makes it good!

The feeeling..I sort of feels the salty stains of water mixed with the sand.

I think theses would do darn good..printed out and framed on my wall :D

    great job

Thanks for the compliments. I think I really just randomly shoot stuff most of the time, not expecting to have perfect shots. I find when you just shoot and shoot and shoot, you end up with a few good shots. It was fun to be out in a somewhat heavy storm w/o putting my camera in danger lol.
