Thank you
Thank you so much for your advice. I am looking thru the tutorial now, and I will post my results. Should I keep the gaussian blur filter on the pic or take it off completely?

It's great to be part of a great GRIN family.

Once you run the gaussian blur (do this on a separate layer), you can slide the opacity slider to your liking then create a layer mask (the little icon at the bottom of the palette) and hit these keys: "B", then "D" then "X". This will give you the paint brush. The "X" will toggle between white and black. make sure black is selected then using the "[ or ]" keys will make your brush smaller or bigger. Paint the areas you don't want the blur to affect in your photo....eyes, hair, teeth, etc.
Here's the pic after I took it through the tutorial and made a few more adjustments. I tried to fix the white spot, but I had a hard time with that. Comments and suggestions please.

Natural selection is responsible for every living thing that exists.
D3s, D500, D5300, and way more glass than the wife knows about.

aaaaa.... who am I kidding!
whoever dies with the biggest coolest piece of glass, wins!
As for the photo - it has some serious potential. I would make these adjustments:
