Some White Tails

Last summer/fall we had as many as 8 deer running around the neighbourhood. I'm sure that cars/trains have taken their toll, but also the hard winter, and we are down to spotting only 2 when they come around. They are last years babies, early last fall this guy started showing up with a limp. He can run/leap with the best of them, his fore-left knee is fused in that position, so he looks very awkward when walking or trotting. But has been managing since early last fall with it.

They were in our orchard this morning and I ran out to take some shots, sadly, (stupidly) I shot before checking my camera settings (high ISO) :rolleyes so please excuse the mess of them!!! :cry
The first two pictures are of The Gimp and the last 4 are of the sibling!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You are being generous...this was the worst set of shots I've taken, I got a little distracted, ok a lot distracted with the subject, and didn't do any settings check and it really shows! rolleyes1.gif

They'll be back, they live in the backyard!!! :)
